This is such a tricky 1 for me to review. So starting with the staff, AAAA+++++. Excellent, professional, helpful, friendly. Brilliant staff Hertz, well done to you. However.... The car itself, which let's be honest is what you pay the money for. Absolutely terrible, i paid for a petrol Renault/Suzuki or equivalent, but was given a BYD. First impressions of the BYD - not great, very flimsy feel , to much tech, that doesn't work! No Android auto, and very glitchy, would not connect with my phone. Far worse to come....after 2 day's it totally broke down. I had a Amber warning triangle appear, and within 5 minutes it stopped altogether on a mountainous Armenian dual carriageway(dangerous). Fair play Hertz staff again- they sent a technician/ manager, with a replacement Mazda 3 petrol. They couldn't get the Chinese BYD going whatsoever either. Thankfully the Mazda was perfect So would i use Hertz again.... Yes, your staff are great, BUT ONLY if you gave me a European or Japanese petrol car, which is what I initially ordered.
