There were scammers at the airport, pretending to be employees of Yandex Go. They nearly managed to trick me, but eventually I realized that it was a scam. So when you want to take a Yandex Go taxi from the Almaty airport, just use the app and don’t speak to anyone who appears to be trying to help you.

The food here was delicious. I had one of the best salads of my life, and the soup was awesome as well. And the staff were very helpful, patiently translating the menu into English for me. It was an all around great dining experience.
